Wooden Blinds

Wooden Blinds in Ibadan

Real and faux wood slats with visible grain. The warmest-looking option, and the one that most reads as an upgrade.

Wooden venetian and patterned day & night blinds on display at the Bosun Blinds showroom

Wooden blinds bring a warmth that aluminium and fabric cannot match. The grain catches light differently through the day, and the weight of the slats gives a window a substantial, finished feel.

We supply both real timber and faux wood. Faux wood is the more practical choice in humid rooms and near kitchens because it will not warp, while real timber is lighter and gives the richer grain.

Finished with matching valances and tapes so the headrail and fixings disappear.

Questions

The Things People Ask Us Most

Anything not covered here, send it to us on WhatsApp — we answer honestly, even when the answer is that you do not need us.

How much do blinds cost in Ibadan?

Price depends on the volume — how many windows you are doing — and which material you choose. A single roller blind and a full office fit-out are very different jobs, and larger orders bring the price per window down. Send us your rough window sizes on WhatsApp and we will give you an honest figure before we visit. The measurement itself is free.

Do you charge for measurement?

No. Measurement is free, and there is no obligation to order afterwards.

How long does it take from order to installation?

It depends on the volume. A few windows turn around quickly; a whole house or an office fit-out takes longer. We give you a date in writing with your quote and we keep to it.

Do you install outside Ibadan?

Yes. Our showroom and factory are in Ibadan, but we install across Nigeria. Tell us where you are and how many windows, and we will confirm.

Which blinds are best for strong afternoon sun?

For a window that takes direct afternoon sun, vertical blinds or a sunscreen roller blind work best — both cut glare and heat while keeping the room usable. If the room is a bedroom, a blackout roller is the better answer.

Can you replace or repair blinds I already have?

In most cases yes. Broken chains, slipped louvres and stiff mechanisms are usually repairable, and individual vertical louvres can be replaced without redoing the whole blind. Send us a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth repairing.

Do you make curtains as well as blinds?

Yes. We make and hang made-to-measure curtains, including sheers, linings and full blackout drapes, along with the tracks and poles. Many customers fit a blind for daytime light control and curtains over it for the evening.

Do you fit blinds for offices and shops?

Yes, commercial work is a large part of what we do — offices, shops, schools, clinics and churches. For bigger jobs we quote per window and can phase the installation so you are not disrupted.
